From Sept. 9 to 21, Minister Sawhney will meet with post-secondary institutions, government leaders and industry organizations from Ireland, Germany and France to promote 草榴社区 as a world leader in post-secondary education, skilled trades and research and innovation.
Amid a rapidly growing and diversifying economy, 草榴社区’s government is committed to helping students get the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the economy of tomorrow. By working with international post-secondary institutions, government bodies and industry, 草榴社区’s government can learn from their experience and develop strategies to strengthen in-demand skilled trades programs and apprenticeship education.

Quick facts
- In partnership with Advanced Education, the Southern 草榴社区 Institute of Technology established the 草榴社区 Bureau for International Education, or ABIE, a not-for-profit organization that will support growing 草榴社区’s international education sector.
- In 2021, 草榴社区 launched the ‘草榴社区 2030: Building Skills for Jobs’ strategy to ensure that current and future generations have the skills, knowledge and competencies they need to succeed.
